Our client are a global brand, with specialist R&D teams creating new, cutting edge technologies.

They are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) for consumer and industrial markets.

This is a contract position (6 months).

This role will coordinate fast growing segments in 3D imaging and be responsible for managing and growing an AI computer vision software portfolio that delivers market share expansion.

The role is primarily to convert the existing AI computer vision SW portfolio into a sustainable business.

The BDM conducts lead generation activity up to deal closure.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop, manage and implement business plans and marketing initiatives together with other internal stakeholders
• Contribute to a strategy formulation and to define the optimum market approach.
• Work on the pricing and go-to-market strategies
• Collaborate with other internal Sony group functions to identify and grow opportunities within territory
• Develop relations at key customers for market research and design-in leading, and aligning on roadmap for product area
• Participate to tradeshows and industry conferences

Desired experience
• 10 + years of experience within an AI computer vision SW sales or BD role
• 10+ years of experience within the industrial market
• Preferably experience in computer vision industry experience
• B.S.E.E. or similar background, with 10+ years of technical marketing/business development. MBA is preferred but not required
• If you have a strong technical background or with experience in embedded systems, it is a plus
• You can demonstrable the ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel for 20-25% of your time
