Business Developer – Premium Meat

Role Responsibilities
* Develop and expand your client portfolio in Oost- & West-Vlaanderen, Antwerpen and Brussels e.o. by actively prospecting and visiting horeca, traiteurs and butchers, directly contributing to the company’s growth ambitions.
* Advise customers professionally on meat products, cuts and preparations, translating their needs into tailored solutions that reflect the company’s focus on quality and craftsmanship.
* Work closely with the internal sales and logistics teams: you mainly use the office to check in, coordinate orders and fine-tune service, while spending most of your time independently on the road with clients.
Requirements
* At least 2 years of relevant experience in the meat sector (e.g. butchery, sales or horeca) and proven commercial experience in account management or sales, enabling you to immediately add value in a B2B meat/food environment.
* Strong product knowledge of meat cuts and preparations, combined with excellent prospecting and negotiation skills, so you can both win new clients and build long-term relationships.
* Autonomous, proactive and results-driven mindset, with a category B driving licence and willingness to travel across your region; you communicate easily in French and English and enjoy building trust with both clients and internal teams.
