Position overview

Are you interested in learning more about the Business Controller role in the world’s leading industrial coating resins company? We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated finance professional to join our team. 
The Business Controller is responsible for providing performance measurements, financial planning, and analysis support for the EMEA region, supporting the FP&A EMEA Manager and the commercial and operations teams. She/he will analyze both product lines and the overall profitability of the business. She/he will also develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.

Responsibilities
-Analyze contribution margin and track key performance across market segments, technologies, customers, and products
-Contribute to regular monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and the consolidation of this data
-Contribute to the annual budget process and 5/15 year strategic plans
-Assess capital investment opportunities using discounted cash flow analysis
-Influence decision-making with data-backed analysis to improve financial performance of the business 
-Prepare Global Pricing and Key Accounts reporting
-Ensure Forecast and Budget into BPC Planning
-Perform various ad-hoc analysis as needed to support the team,
-Contribute to/leading various projects as needed

Required skills and experience
-3+ years of progressive experience working in a financial business environment, including the areas of business analysis or financial analysis and cost accounting
-Strong financial knowledge and analytical skills
-Highly skilled in Excel
-Experience with SAP, BI and BPC preferred
-Experience with large datasets and data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI and queries) preferred
-Ability to influence others with data and evidence to make good decisions
-Ability to interpret data in an understandable manner
-Ability to self-motivate, prioritize and complete tasks on time
-Pro-active, curious, and focused on solving problems
-Fluent English skills required

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance; MBA/MS/CMA/CPA or local equivalent is desirable with emphasis on continuing education in all areas of finance
