Secondary Business and Economics Teacher – January 2025 Start – HaverhillGSL Education is seeking a passionate and dynamic Business and Economics Teacher for a well-regarded secondary school in the Haverhill area.The school is known for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership team, and commitment to professional development. The role will focus primarily on teaching KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of some KS5 teaching.About the Role and School:

  • Position: Full-time Business and Economics Teacher.
  • Start Date: January 2025.
  • Location: Haverhill, Suffolk.
  • Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent.
  • Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective Business and Economics lessons to KS3 and KS4, with some planning and marking duties.
  • The school has a supportive SLT and encourages a collaborative teaching environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
  • A relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • The ability to inspire, engage, and motivate students through innovative teaching methods.
  • A positive attitude and the drive to contribute to the school’s continued success.
