As a Business Analyst, you will be working closely with the Process Optimisation Information Technology System (POInT) platform in the Data Enablers department. POInT is a global platform that collects data in real-time from various production lines and makes data easily accessible to calculate Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in Novo Nordisk. The platform makes data easily accessible to develop several front-end Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) products to help improve our production processes. Key technologies used are Ignition, Kepware, Azure, and Alteryx/Tableau.Your main responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a liaison between the LoB/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions
  • Identifying and analysing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements
  • Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
  • Supporting and participating in implementation activities, while also engaging in sparring sessions with local stakeholders to enhance data processes and improve data quality
  • Continuously challenging and suggesting new processes and methods to improve both the project team and the solution, while also hosting community workshops and training stakeholders in the Line of Business

The ideal candidate for this position should meet most of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Database Management, or similar field with 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience or knowledge in translating between technical and business requirements to a variety of stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a background in both business and IT, along with familiarity with production systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with strong English fluency
  • Experience or knowledge within systems such as SCADA and PLC
  • Experience or knowledge within frameworks such as Scaled Agile Framework, SQL Querying, Databases, and Azure DevOps is a plus
