The Bulk Coordinator is responsible for the efficient dispatching and coordination of all bulk deliveries into direct distribution and export countries. This role involves managing the entire delivery process, ensuring timely and accurate shipments, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities are:

In the role of Bulk coordinator for our lubricants business in Europe, your responsibilities are the following:

  • Coordinate and manage the dispatching of bulk deliveries to direct distribution and export countries as well as pick-up shipments;

  • Ensure all deliveries are scheduled and executed in a timely manner, meeting customer requirements and company standards;

  • Communicate with suppliers, blending plants, transport companies, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations;

  • Act as the main operational contact for the bulk logistic providers, coordinating all related activities and ensuring smooth operations;

  • Accountable for transactional discipline and correctness of above processes in the SAP system;

  • Effective communication internally and with external service providers

  • Log and handle complaints;

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, customer service, and sales, to ensure seamless operations;

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding bulk deliveries;

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction;

  • Daily management of ad hoc issues;

  • Responsible for measuring all required KPI’s related to bulk deliveries (OPEX, Volume, dropsize, Truck utilization;

  • Provide back-up support for other bulk coordinator;

  • Lower Carbon Initiatives: Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement strategies to reduce CO2 emissions;

  • Project Management for Bulk Logistics: Assist or lead projects related to bulk logistics, ensuring efficient and effective execution from planning to completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter;

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills;

  • Excellent communicator with interpersonal skills;

  • Stress resistant.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience in an international environment;

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in bulk delivery operations;

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements for bulk deliveries;

  • This role requires working occasionally flexibility, according to a rotating schedule with other bulk coordinator, to manage emergencies that necessitate coordination with customers, customs agencies, or logistics providers;

  • Good knowledge of excel;

  • Understanding of SAP is an asset. Demonstrate accuracy and maintain transactional discipline;

  • Fluent Dutch & English.
