We are looking for an experienced and driven Building Services Engineer to take the
helm at our site in Kinsale, Ireland – a thriving, large-scale campus with 50+
buildings, 1,400+ clients, and over 100 ) team members working alongside specialist
contractors.
With the site in a major growth phase, this is your chance to lead within a complex,
high-performance, and tightly regulated environment, ensuring world-class standards are
met every single day.
Your Impact
As our Building Services Engineer, you’ll:
x25CF; Own site-wide technical performance – delivering excellence in safety, compliance,
and operational standards.
x25CF; Supporting a team of 8+ skilled technical staff.
x25CF; Manage key systems including BMS, Maximo, GMARS (or similar).
x25CF; Champion GMP compliance and the highest HSE standards.f
x25CF; Drive efficiency with KPI monitoring and continuous improvement projects.
x25CF; Demonstrate attention to documentation and reporting.
x25CF; Build trusted partnerships with our client and key on-site stakeholders.
x25CF; Use CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) to schedule and
track maintenance tasks.
x25CF; Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance of building systems.
x25CF; Recommend upgrades like LED lighting or energy-efficient HVAC systems.
x25CF; Monitor energy usage and optimise system performance to reduce costs and
environmental impact.
x25CF; Ensure all systems and equipment are compliant with Irish regulations and
standards.
What You Bring
We’re looking for an engineer who is:
x25CF; Has proven experience working in technical services in a regulated environment.
x25CF; Experienced in supervising technical teams (2+ years in people management).
x25CF; Skilled in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred).
x25CF; Confident in client-facing roles, with exceptional communication and relationship
skills.
x25CF; Strategic yet hands-on – able to collaborate across departments and respond
proactively.
x25CF; Demonstrates a good understanding of Asset Management best practice.
