Your new role
As Brand Manager focused on Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), you’ll be the strategic force behind our obesity and diabetes portfolio in Portugal. This is a role where deep market intelligence meets creative execution – where you’ll translate customer insights into compelling brand strategies that resonate with healthcare professionals and drive meaningful impact.
Your responsibilities will include:

-Leading the development and execution of annual brand plans with clear positioning, segmentation, targeting and messaging strategies that drive competitive advantage in the Healthcare Professionals segment.
-Investigating and interpreting market insights (both quantitative and qualitative) to inform long-term strategic plans and deliver on short-term business objectives
-Managing the full spectrum of brand communications – from multi-channel marketing campaigns to sales force materials, training programmes and direct HCP engagement
-Leading cross functional Brand Teams, ensuring alignment and accountability across Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory, and Corporate Affairs
-Monitoring market dynamics, competitor strategies and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and adapt tactics in real-time
-Managing promotional budgets, vendor relationships and ROI analyses to optimise performance and demonstrate impact
-Acting as the ‘Brand Champion’ – the go-to expert on market positioning and key messaging for your designated brands
Your new department
Within our Portuguese affiliate, the Cardiometabolic Marketing team plays a critical role in communicating innovative treatments to healthcare professionals and patients, in the right way. You’ll work in an environment where agility meets strategic rigour, where local market expertise is valued, and where your ability to build strong relationships with HCPs, field teams and cross-functional stakeholders will be essential to success.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a strategic brand marketer who thrives at the intersection of data, creativity and customer insight. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An additional master’s degree in marketing is an advantage.
-Minimum 5 years of experience as marketing Brand Manager with proven track record of developing and executing successful omnichannel marketing strategies.
-Solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge and genuine interest in the cardiometabolic area will be and advantage.
-This is an individual contributor role however we expect demonstrated leadership experience across cross-functional teams and strong collaborative mindset.
-Fluency in both Portuguese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Based in the Lisbon area
You demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and represent the brand confidently. Strategic thinking combined with operational excellence – you can develop long-term vision while ensuring flawless day-to-day execution. A customer-centric mindset with genuine passion for understanding HCP needs and translating insights into effective marketing strategies.
