Then EG might be the perfect employer for you.Brand Manager EG Generics (f/m/x)Brussels | BE | Full Time | PermanentAbout the Marketing DepartmentThe marketing department plays a vital role in promoting the company’s brands to all stakeholders (patients, physicians and pharmacists). It plays an important role in understanding the market and its competitors. Marketing defines EG’s market positioning and promotes its brands to all target audiences in line with the company’s purpose “Caring for people’s health as a trusted partner”.About your roleThe brand manager builds our brands to further accelerate our growth, going from strategical brand building exercises, business reviews to brand plans, presenting and implementing the brand activation plan.How you can make an impact

  • Help building the brands of your therapeutical area´s: you develop activation- and communication plans to all stakeholders (patients/consumers, physicians and pharmacists) based on the brand objectives taking into account the legal context.
  • Set up projects and make sure that the golden basis of generic prescription medication stays top of mind.
  • Draw up a strong business plan for your focus products (both OTC and Rx) and ensure its roll-out amongst patients, physicians and pharmacists.
  • Develop innovative communication & activation plans towards your stakeholders.
  • Pro-actively look for new opportunities and find the right balance between the traditional proven tools and new trends.
  • Generate the necessary instore visibility and drive sales for your OTC products.
  • You are responsible for the creation and implementation of the brand plans. You own your budgets, analyze the results and pro-actively suggest adaptations of the plans where needed.
  • You present the plans to the medical and pharma reps in an inspiring and motivating way.
  • You work closely with the sales department: you align your plans with the sales teams.
  • Together with the digital brand manager, you research the various possible digital activations to grow your products.
  • Collaborate cross functional with colleagues of Pharmaceutical Affairs, New Business Development, Supply Chain and other departments. You align your plans regularly with them and communicate all relevant info to all counterparts.

  • Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences
  • Strong marketing skills, able to think strategically, develop strong briefings whilst pragmatically enough to ensure excellence in execution
  • Good teamplayer, strong communicator with solid analytical skills
  • Eager to learn and to adapt plans in line with the new trends
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, English
