Job Summary: We are seeking five strategic Biotech Business Development Executives to join us across various regions, including Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and the Nordics. The ideal candidates will bring extensive service industry expertise across the Pharma/Biotech/CDMO sectors and will be adept at coordinating winning solutions and strategies tailored to our Biotech accounts. These are new positions that not only offer the chance to lead growth initiatives but also to influence the broader strategic direction of the company within the Biotech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive sales growth in the Biotech market segment.

  • Drive overall execution of sales goals, including identifying and winning business with new customers and providing an elite customer experience by working cross-functionally with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and strategic relationship managers.

  • Work across our global network, supporting a harmonized customer experience.

  • Become an expert in the partner’s pipeline and portfolio to proactively identify cross-divisional commercial strategies. Deliver tailored, competitive solutions to customer’s distinct requirements.

  • Stay ahead of customer needs through understanding their company’s imperatives, including key operating cycles, budget cycle, strategic sourcing criteria, and business or technical processes.

  • Lead and manage sophisticated deal structuring and negotiation processes.

  • Coordinate and represent the business in senior-level executive and customer meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the Biotech industry is critical.

  • Experience in Contract Research Organizations (CRO) and clinical trials is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO) is important.

  • Demonstrated success in cross-selling and handling complex deal structures.

  • Proven track record of successfully competing in a highly competitive sales environment.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

  • Proficiency in English is required; fluency in one or more additional languages is a significant plus.

  • Customer-centric approach.

  • Continuous improvement mentality with the ability to drive innovation.

  • Demonstrated experience leading within a matrix organization.

  • Self-motivated with a strong bias for action and results.
