Develop, validate and apply innovative computational methods to analyze and integrate high-throughput Multi-omics datasets, including Genomics, Metagenomics, Transcriptomics and Metabolomics.
Data interpretation and comprehensive reporting and communication
Within the role you:

• Increase Genomics’ performance and improved already implemented NGS pipelines: scout, implement and/or build new pipelines using state-of-the-art software and systems.
• Expand Genomics scope in ADM: new Genomic targets and data integration (clinical, omics, etc)
• Work transversally with ADM teams and external experts in the field on study design, analysis, and interpretation of preclinical and clinical data.
• Communicate the results to internal teams and external partners.
• Lead peer reviewed scientific publications, scientific communications, and patents.

Employ best-practices for source control, statistical accuracy, documentation, and reproducibility.You have

• PhD in Biological Sciences (Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology) or equivalent
• Graduate/postgraduate education in: i) data science: Scripting (R, Python, etc), data analysis (data retrieving and manipulation from public repositories, building and analysis datasets, machine learning), ii) statistical models for reproducible data science.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken, any other language a plus
• At least 5 years of proven experience – ideally as postgraduate work in bioinformatics and/or biostatistics.
• Experience in analysing and integrating Microbiome-based datasets.
• Development and/or implementation of methodologies and tools.
• Experience with high-performance computing environment.
• Experience in Microbial systems modelling
• Experience in project management.
• Team-work and know-how transfer capacity
• Organizational, attention to detail and open mindset.
• Proactive, creative, problem solving and critical thinking
• Ability to simultaneously manage and execute multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
