Biomedical Scientist (Histopathology)

6 months of NHS experience is mandatory

Duration: ASAP for 12 weeks

Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Location: St Richards Hospital

Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement

Pay Rates: GBP17 – GBP20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine Histopathology laboratory tasks.
* Predominantly focus on microtomy sectioning.
* Ability to cut 25+ blocks per hour, including:

* Standard sections
* Mega blocks
* Single levels
* Cores

Requirements:

* HCPC registration (Band 5 candidates are welcome ).
* Strong skills in all aspects of Histopathology.
