We are searching for a motivational biology teacher to share their love of science and education. You might be the ideal teacher we’re searching for if you have experience teaching science or are seeking your first position in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create, plan, and present biology lessons for pupils in KS3/KS4 that are interesting and demanding.
* Establish a welcoming and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes engagement and success among the students.
* Evaluate and track students’ progress while offering guidance and encouragement to help them realise their greatest potential.
* Work together to create and carry out curriculum projects with colleagues.
* Attend parent conferences, school functions, and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Biology or a related field.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness for one.
* Proven experience teaching biology at the secondary level, preferably with KS4 students.
* Must provide 2 professional references.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for biology.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
