We are looking for someone that believes in continuous improvement, technical excellence and in the value of teamwork.What you will be doing:You’ll have the opportunity to work on a complex ecosystem, with a wide range of bleeding-edge technologies to discover. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible to contribute, maintain and design the evolution of our Big Data platform based on Apache Flink.What will help you succeed:3+ years of experience in complex software architectures development in a web environment;Coding experience in any of Java, Kotlin Go or Python;Knowledge of REST APIs, networking fundamentals and HTTP protocol;Design and knowledge of microservices architectures;Knowledge of Big Data Architectures, for real time processing (ex Apache Flink);Knowledge of databases both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (OpenSearch);In-depth knowledge of KafkaKnowledge of Kubernetes and CI/CDGood level of English;Analytical skills and accuracy.Nice To Have:Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum;Knowledge of git workflows;Knowledge of Gradle;Knowledge of Druid/Pinot or BigQuery;Knowledge of caching solutions (Redis);Knowledge of Looker;Interest of ML/AI.At Globant we believe that an inclusive culture and a diverse environment make us stronger.
