Do you enjoy the development cycle of going from a business need, all the way to implementation, and taking pride in value created?We are looking for a BI Software Engineer that translates business requirements/user stories into a robust supportable design of code for the product/application. Develops and test the code to ensure it functions as designed. Implements the code across the software development life cycle steps preferring CI/CD tooling for deployment and integration. Deploys to production, monitors, and maintains the software to ensure proper functionality.The BI Software Engineer works closely with data architects, data engineers, and business analysts to design and implement robust and performant enterprise grade BI applications with best-in-class UI/UX. Provides engineering support for assigned tools and coordinate with other support teams, whether it is external or owned by internal product owners. Plays a crucial role in establishing, maintaining, and championing BI best practices for the organization.Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, engineering, or a related field, experience in data engineering or BI engineering rolesExperience with designing and managing the architecture of BI solutions, with data governance and CI/CDExperience with Microsoft technology stack including Power BI, Azure Databricks, and FabricExperience with integration BI solutions with other data systems and services, ensuring data consistency, security, performance and strong UI/UX
