Behaviour Teaching AssistantTeaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join one of Alternative Provision schools in Littlehampton. You will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, ensuring their academic and social success within the classroom environment. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply!Responsibilities:Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs.Provide one-on-one or small group support to students exhibiting challenging behaviours, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.Act as a positive role model, demonstrating empathy, patience and respect in all interactions.Assist in the supervision of student during classroom activities, transitions and recess periods, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
