MILK Education are working in partnership with a specialist provision in Sunderland who are currently recruiting for a School Behaviour Mentor to support students in an all through SEMH Primary and Secondary school. There are 2 positions available, 1 at their Primary site and 1 at their Secondary. You must be able to demonstrate a level of flexibility of working across KS1-KS2 or KS3-KS4, supporting students with SEMH. You will be required to assist with the delivery of daily lessons and supporting students on a 1:1 and small groups basis.The right person for this school must be a positive role model, who is patient and understanding. As a key support member in the students day to day routine, you must be a confident individual and positive role model who is able to actively listen and support students with both learning and mentoringThis is a full time position to start after Februrary half term – 8:30-16:00.Key responsibilities:– Provide guidance and support to individuals in a mentoring relationship– Help mentees set and achieve personal and professional goals– Offer advice and share personal experiences to assist mentees in their development– Foster a positive and supportive environment for mentees to learn and grow– Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to mentees
