Seleccionamos becario/a para el departamento de Finanzas en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Las Palmas, España).

Para la realización de la beca (presencial), la persona deberá poder acogerse a los requisitos del Programa Inserta de la Fundación Universitaria de Las Palmas (FULP). Beca de 10 meses de duración.

Responsabilidades del puesto
Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Financial and Treasury Manager. This role will perform a variety of administrative functions in support of specified departmental needs, mainly focused on account payable and archive and documentation.

Job Responsibilities

-Registering/booking of all incoming invoices.
-Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records for both accounting and tax purposes.
-Keeping up filing system for all types of invoices, reimbursement forms, expense reports, contracts, statistics; etc.
-Preparation, control and follow up of invoices to be authorized/ signed by the HoD.
-Preparing and submitting VAT information to the tax agency on the SII system.
-Assist the accountant on preparing the information to be submitted to the tax advisors for tax filing purposes.
-Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
-Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs (JDE).
-Assists in the month and year-end close responsibilities for ARO.
-Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
-Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing, expense account filing.
-Create and modify documents such as reports, memos and letters using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software such as Microsoft Office.
-Assists with non-routine administrative projects such as preparing handouts, organizing social projects and activities.

Formación y experiencia

-Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration and Management.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
-Knowledge in Spanish GAAP.
-Ability to communicate in English, including reading, writing and oral communication with comprehension (level B2 or higher).
