How will you make an impact in this role?

We are looking for a Bank Business Development Analyst to join our Card Bank Acquisition team based in Rome. The new resource will be responsible for Banks Partnerships development with strong focus on:

  • Implement an effective account management strategy;

  • Work on a prospect pipeline in the Mid Bank Segment;

  • Implement appropriate actions in order to achieve business targets in terms of volume growth;

  • Ensure high level of client satisfaction through end to end control of Acquisition process;

  • Manage relationships, coordinate reviews and trainings with our Bank Partners;

  • Find opportunities for new digital touchpoints and prospect journey optimization;

  • Analyze performances and coordinate development of action plans;

  • Conduct regular account reviews;

  • Interact and cooperate with Amex internal department;

  • Identify new opportunities with our existing Bank Partners;

  • Conduct research perform analysis to improve our business critical metric.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years sales/relationship management experience in a B2B environment;

  • Outstanding relationship management skills in a sophisticated and structured partner environment;

  • Ability to represent Amex at highest levels in client organization;

  • Ideally Digital Marketing Experience or curiosity about growing their Digital abilities;

  • Strategic vision and analytical thinking;

  • Financial competence and budget planning;

  • Strong organizational and planning skills;

  • Strong orientation to teamwork;

  • Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point);

  • Very good communication skills and interpersonal relations;

  • Availability to travel;

  • Analytical skills, financial foresight and good attention to quality and details;

  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and written & verbal communication skills;

  • Customer focused with the ability to build effective internal and external relationship;

  • Excellent Italian and English communication skills (written and verbal);

  • Digital Banking knowledge would be a plus;

  • University degree in Economics would be a plus.
