Bank Assistant Chef

Your role

-Help plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for employees
-Enjoy a better work-life balance with no late nights or split shifts, giving you more time for yourself
-Promote and maintain food hygiene and safety standards
-Carry out risk assessments and keep the kitchen clean and safe
-Support the supervision and development of staff
-Manage kitchen stock and equipment within budget and follow cash handling procedures

This position would also suit a Line Cook, Cook, Assistant Cook or Commis Chef.

Your skills

-Experience working in a catering environment
-Valid food hygiene certificate
-NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering
-Knowledge of health and safety procedures and confidence using catering machinery
-Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of ingredients and produce
-Good communication and customer care skills
-Awareness of dietary requirements and how food types can affect medication
