Listen: ** **Job DescriptionInternship starting from September 2025 for 6 monthsWe are looking for a Backend engineer intern to join our Payment Engineering team who’s in charge of worldwide payments processed by Deezer.Our main missions are the following :Allow users to subscribe to Deezer with all existing payment methodsEnsure that recurring payments processing are working correctlyProvide support to customer care team on payment issuesConfigure offers correctly according to company strategyDeezer payment platform in figures :80k payments processed per dayUsed in more than 200 countries in the worldHandling more than 10 different payment methodsWith such high volumes, it’s crucial to have adapted tools to be able to monitor processes and handle errors efficiently when needed. This is why we need you ! Your role will be to build adapted tools to improve team efficiency on issues investigation and resolution.What you will do:Learn about Deezer’s subscription lifecycles (Google / iOS / Cards) and challenges that we are facingWork closely with the whole team to better understand their needsDesign solutions to propose to the team and implement itImplement new APIs on Payment platformIntegrate payment features to Deezer’s BackOfficeCare about the quality and the stability of the code you write (best practices, unit tests,…)

QualificationsThis role is excellent for a person with:You are currently enrolled in your last year or have just graduated with a Master’s Degree in Software EngineeringPassion for Software EngineeringExperience in PHP Backend development and SQLComfortable working in French & EnglishStrong communication skills with a proactive and autonomous approachComfortable working independently and collaboratively in a teamAdditional skills that we value:Experience with Symfony framework and Git is a plusIf you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, tell us why you’d still be a great fit for this role in your application!Additional InformationAt Deezer, you can be your true self as we believe that #everyvoicematters.
