We are currently seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our client’s team. Our client is a leading eCommerce company that is rapidly expanding, and they require an experienced Back-End Developer to assist in the development of their platform.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for back-end development of the company’s websites
* Partner with external agency to integrate with current development process
* Quickly develop understanding of current tech stack and deliver future platform aspirations
* Work closely with in-house front-end developer and product owner
* Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce platform using modern PHP frameworks
* Ensure seamless integration of back-end with eCommerce platform
* Implement Bloomreach CMS and eCommerce platform integrations for customer shopping experience
* Develop and maintain APIs and microservices for a scalable and flexible platform
* Optimize platform performance, test and debug code to ensure high-quality and error-free platform functionality

Required

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
* At least 3 years of experience in back-end web development using PHP, strong proficiency in modern PHP frameworks, experience with headless eCommerce platforms and APIs, strong knowledge of databases, experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker, familiarity with version control systems, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Desired experience: commercial experience with Bloomreach, experience with agile management tools, test-driven development
