If so, read on to discover the exciting opportunities we offer at Johnson Controls!What You Will DoJoin our Marine & Offshore Sales Team as a Sales Manager, where you will be the face of Johnson Controls to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for B2B sales of our compressor solutions, focusing primarily on natural refrigerants across various sectors, including Boil Off Gas (BOG), Marine, Offshore, Renewable, and P2X.You will be part of a supportive team of 8 amazing colleagues in our Denmark office. In this role, you can expect 20-30 travel days per year, allowing you to build relationships with customers at exhibitions and events around the globe.By joining Johnson Controls’ Marine & Offshore branch, you will be part of a global business with employees worldwide, supported by an international service team in 10 locations. Our Marine & Offshore division delivers innovative HVAC & R solutions for a wide array of applications that operate on water or adhere to marine requirements.How You Will Do It
- Drive business development by securing continuous growth within your segments and actively seeking new potential customers.
- Engage with customers, end-users, and influencers to gain insights into project specifications and inquiries.
- Prepare quotations, specifications, and budgets for sales projects in collaboration with your internal team.
- Calculate and project offers for customers.
- Follow up on projects through effective communication.
- Keep your sales pipeline updated in Salesforce (CRM System).
- Participate in weekly team meetings and one-on-one sessions with your manager to review your sales pipeline.
What We Look ForWe seek a sales Manager who is autonomous and passionate about developing this business area, while also being a team player who values collaboration with colleagues. You will work alongside a technically skilled sales support team in Denmark, who are always ready to assist you.We expect you to:
- Possess strong stakeholder analysis skills, enabling you to identify and build relationships with decision-makers and customers at all levels.
- Hold an engineering degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC engineering.
- Have experience in technical sales to B2B customers, ideally within the Marine and Offshore sectors.
- Ideally have experience with compressors and refrigerants.
- Be knowledgeable in reading electrical, HVAC, and P&ID diagrams and technical specifications.
- Have experience in negotiating contracts with customers.
- Be a skilled communicator, effective at translating technical knowledge into tangible sales specifications and quotations.
- Have experience in business development.
- Speak and write English and Danish fluently.
