This exciting developmental role sits within the Treasury Management team, responsible for managing the Insolvency Service’s internal and external cash forecasting and treasury management duties.

The role will report to the Head of Treasury Management within the Finance, Commercial, Sustainability and Property directorate and will work closely with other functional areas within Finance, the wider Agency and cross Government.
This is an exciting role within the Insolvency Service which will require you to build a network of contacts to ensure the monthly cash forecasts for each of the Agency’s bank accounts represent a true reflection of the likely cash position.
The Treasury Management officer is responsible for all internal and external cash forecasting and treasury management duties.

You will be required to attend the office at one of the locations listed for 60% of your working time and attend other locations when required as part of the 60% attendance.
Essential Criteria
You will be expected to demonstrate how your experience, knowledge and skills meet the essential/desirable criteria and that you possess the attributes detailed in the person specification.
This role is very much seen as training role with scope for future advancement across the various Finance teams.
Experience within an accounting role within the last 12 months.
Minimum of either AAT Level 4, CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting (CIMA Cert BA) or equivalent CCAB qualification with ongoing membership.
Successful candidates will be committed to completing a full CCAB or CIMA qualification including Practical assessment requirements within 3-4 years, timeframe depends on current qualifications.
This will be a contractual obligation with full funding provided
Further Information
Full funding towards a full CCAB or CIMA qualifications, including day release for study and exams worth approximately £11,000 over 3 years.
Progressive role with support towards achieving C2/SEO promotion.
Hybrid working (60% of time in the office).
