Job description
Your Responsibilities:
- As a project lead, you lead the upgrade of existing SCADA systems that control production equipment and assure data storage.
- You are accountable for the successful lifecycle management of 2 SCADA instances by either upgrading the SCADA and migrat it to an OT network or connecting the equipment to the site wide data warehouse system.
- You are the owner of an automation project with a budget of 1-2m
- You are responsible from the Detailed Design to Hand-over and Close-out phase to ensure an outcome which meets all the defined project objectives for cost, schedule, quality, safety, and environment and delivers the business expected benefits.
- You are responsible for all required contracting and purchasing activities to achieve the projects success.
- You are responsible for the safety KPIs of your project and the compliance to all EHS-related requirements.
- You work with the internal and external stakeholders to secure the project team resources.
- You are responsible for all administrative tasks linked to project resources, training matrix, invoicing, procurement tasks, quality (CAPA, deviations), change control, Gemba, Hazardous Situations reporting, work permit administration, supplier site access
- You work closely with the Automation technical SME team for the scope development and technical design and the execution strategy.
- You define then deploy the Project Execution Plan, documenting the project delivery strategy and the success criteria.
- You ensure that the overall commissioning, validation & handover strategy fully complies with the PMF Standard to ensure a timely and complete handover to the Customer.
- You develop a risk management strategy and implement associated processes and tools to ensure effective identification, monitoring, and management of the project risks.
- You prepare monthly progress reports.
- You are accountable for project cost controlling and forecasting. You implement strict project and financial controls, including procedures for change control / management, cost control / forecasting, physical progress / productivity measurement, and invoice review / payment.
- You keep complete oversight of the co-activities between your project and all adjacent projects to be able to construct a mitigation plan which avoids any negative impact on your project.
- You ensure deliverables are effectively produced, on time, on budget and with the expected quality.
Basic Qualifications and experiences:
- Engineering degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Automation, IT, Electrical or Chemical
- Fluent in French and English (MUST HAVE)
- Min. 8 years of CAPEX Project management experience as Project or Program Manager (MUST HAVE)
- FULL presence on site required (MUST HAVE)
- Experience with industrial revamping projects within a shutdown in a GMP and production environment
- Successful experience in people management.
- Stakeholder management & negotiation & influencing skills.
- Robust experience with automation projects or with projects including SCADA.
- Awareness Archestra (Aveva System Plateform) and OSI PI (Aveva Pi) is a plus.
- Awareness of IT/OT Network topology is a plus.
- The role requires sound judgment and complex decision making where few precedents and considerable ambiguity may exist.
