Job Description:

An Automation Manager plans and performs work requiring sound engineering judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of assignments. This position is considered an expert on construction automation tools and provides construction automation support and technical advice for projects. Implements and coordinates the execution of construction automation activities on Fluor projects worldwide. This position may act as the regional or office construction automation lead.

• Provide technical configuration and coordination of the support for construction systems

• Communicate the data integration requirements between construction systems

• Stay current on research dealing with construction automation technologies and supported construction work practices with the ability to apply knowledge gained

• Work with the project information manager (PIM) to ensure that all project construction automation requirements for the proposal and/or project are met

• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines

• Other duties as assigned
