Who are we looking for?

The purpose of this position is to develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions, to investigate and assist in the evaluation and installation of 3rd party software solutions, as well as to assist in the design and installation of mechanical and electrical developments.

What will you be doing?

In the Automation Engineer role, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the internal Process Control System for all departments. Apart from that, you will implement barcoding systems and PLC-controlled manufacturing machines, monitor and manage interfaces for the collected data, and

-Support and develop the Business system, focusing on Process/Production Control.

-Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
-Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clean code.
-Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, testing, and programming.
-Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
-Update professional knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
-Train and support the end users in the organization.
-Continuously maintain codebase to fix bugs, cover new requirements and improve user experience.
This position will work in Operations, initially Paste, Wire, Powder and Billet & Bar casting productions, and have to interact with Global Process Engineering Group as well as Process Operators/Supervisors and Managers.

Who are You?

The ideal candidate has a bachelor/university degree in a technical field (such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechatronics) or studies in progress or 2+ years of experience as a software or automation engineer, needs to have experience with programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Stack used: C# (ASP.NET, WPF, Xamarin Forms), AngularJS, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, MSSQL, Git, Omron PLC.

You must have experience with electrical cabinets and PLC programming.

Your English needs to be on a communication level.

What competencies will you need?

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a good problem solver and self-starter, must be strong in teamwork and have project management skills. You also need to be a native speaker of Hungarian and must be on communication level in English (spoken and written).
