Do you want to support production continuity and help ramp-up a brand-new facility to its full potential?If you want to work in a true IT and Automation community covering all technology aspects, join the Aseptic Production (AP) Automation team in Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) Hillerød and become part of large local IT and Automation department and a global organization.If that sounds like you, read on and apply today for a life-changing career.The positionAs an Automation Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you will:Support the factory’s process control systems and batch execution software during failure investigation/resolution to establish corrective measures and optimisations.Design, implement, and document software and hardware changes in collaboration with process, compliance, quality, and close IT colleagues.Participate in the team’s on-call duty roster.You will be working in a pharmaceutical production facility in accordance with current quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements, with ongoing production 24 hours, 7 days a week (24/7).QualificationsTo be considered for this position, we expect you to have:At least a bachelor’s degree in automation, engineering, or any other related field.Relevant work experience in manufacturing development and/or GMP production of medical devices, including process validation.Experience with Siemens PLC and HMI; IFIX SCADA; SQL; Visual Basics (VBA).Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Your personality will help you establish good relations and support your ability to work across functions at all levels in our organisation.About the departmentThe unit consists of approximately 80 colleagues dispersed across 7 different teams who together cover most aspects of operation, maintenance, and development of the site’s IT and Automation architecture, hardware, software, infrastructure, and quality management.The Aseptic Production (AP) Automation team currently consists of 15 highly skilled automation engineers. Our main responsibility is to apply a curious, problem-solving, and service mindset for the automation systems supporting the AP production equipment. Moreover, we play a vital role during process design and redesign through collaboration with the factory’s product and process responsible in an Agile organisational design.
