\nWhat you’ll do:

• Create automated tests for features developed by the development team
• Gather requirements regarding the scope of testing
• Create and document test scenarios
• Integrate created tests into CI/CD
• Improve the testing process and tools used for automation
• Report bugs and document test results
• Assist with manual testing when needed

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 2+ year of professional quality assurance/software development experience
• Proficiency in Python – ability to write automated tests in this language
• Experience working with Web APIs – ability to create and test GET, POST requests, etc
• Understanding of CI/CD processes – ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with version control system GIT/GitHub – ability to manage source code
• Requirements analysis – ability to understand project requirements and identify test cases
• Test case creation – ability to define and document test scenarios based on requirements
• Basic knowledge of command-line interfaces – ability to use CMD, PowerShell, and Linux terminal
• Problem-solving skills – ability to diagnose and resolve issues in code and tests
• Teamwork and communication skills – ability to collaborate with other team members
• Continuous improvement – willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and tools

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of other programming languages – experience in Java, C++, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift
• Ability to write Bash scripts – experience in automating tasks in Linux systems
• Testing frameworks – experience with frameworks such as: Pytest, Unittest, Selenium, Postman/Newman
• Experience in performance and security testing of APIs – ability to analyze application performance
• Basic knowledge of computer networks – understanding of protocols and network architecture
• Test management tools – familiarity with test management and reporting tools such as JIRA
