Autism Support Worker – SEN School – Lewisham

The Role

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting after the summer break, with scope to continue beyond the academic year.

As an Autism Support Worker, you’ll support pupils with autism and complex needs in a calm and structured setting. You’ll play an important role in helping students progress both academically and personally.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Delivering tailored, engaging learning activities
* Supporting the development of independence and life skills
* Promoting a positive and consistent classroom environment

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

* Has experience with, or a strong understanding of, autism and complex needs
* Is patient, empathetic, and encouraging
* Is confident working both individually and as part of a classroom team
* Builds strong, positive relationships quickly
* Is passionate about supporting children with SEN

Previous experience is beneficial, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.

Requirements
