Your new role
As Associate Trial Operations Specialist Director, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening portfolio-level trial execution across regions and projects. Working closely with the Vice Presidents of Trial Operations and Senior Directors of Clinical Operations Project Management, you will drive execution oversight, risk management, and operational performance to ensure clinical trials are delivered with speed, quality, and impact. Your responsibilities:
-Provide portfolio-level oversight of clinical trial execution across Trial Operations and Global Clinical Development Centers, ensuring transparency, progress tracking, and timely escalation of delivery risks.
-Serve as a strategic partner to Trial Operations leadership, translating execution insights into clear recommendations and actionable decisions.
-Lead and inspire global Therapy Area execution networks, fostering alignment and collaboration across regions, functions, and key stakeholders.
-Drive proactive risk identification, mitigation, and operational excellence to ensure strong and consistent portfolio delivery.
-Represent Trial Operations in cross-functional trial execution forums, leveraging operational insights and building strong partnerships with Clinical Operations Specialists and project leaders.
This role is expected based in Søborg – Denmark. For the right candidate there may be possibility for virtual working. The role has a global scope and outreach, and occasional international travel is part of the job.
Your skills and qualifications
You bring strong clinical operations experience and thrive in a role where you can influence, align, and drive execution across a global organisation. To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect the ideal candidate to:
-Hold a degree in a relevant scientific discipline
-Bring solid 5+ years of experience in clinical trial operations and execution within a global setting
-Have a proven ability to influence without authority and lead through networks
-Are an excellent communicator and collaborator, with a global mindset
-Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complexity into actionable insights
-Thrive in dynamic environments and are motivated by driving performance as well as continuous improvement and innovation
-Strategic mindset with deep understanding of the clinical development value chain

corresponding to the level of the position.

placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
