A Day in the Life
Medtronic is seeking a Technical Consultant for our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) line of business, responsible for the Calabria region. In this role, you will have a meaningful impact on patients by providing essential technical expertise to cardiologists, sales representatives, and marketing teams, mainly supporting implant and follow-up procedures, as well as through product presentations and demonstrations of pacemakers and implantable defibrillators.
As a key liaison between sales personnel and technical staff, you will manage relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations, both on-site and at various client locations across Calabria. The ideal candidate is based in Calabria, with preference for Catanzaro. This is a permanent contract with a fully remote working model.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Participate in presentations, conferences, and meetings to support sales colleagues by providing doctors with comprehensive product information and building strong professional relationships.
- Support the training and technical development of physicians, hospital staff, and other stakeholders in the use of Medtronic products.
- Provide support in post-marketing activities.
- Collaborate closely with sales colleagues to deliver clear, consistent, and complete messaging to healthcare professionals.
- Offer timely technical support when requested by doctors, ensuring all relevant clinical data is shared to demonstrate product efficacy.
- Address and resolve critical product issues in collaboration with office-based colleagues when necessary.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in biomedical engineering or related scientific fields.
- Knowledge of medical devices.
- Willingness to travel within the designated region.
- Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to approach issues from multiple perspectives, assisting doctors in finding effective technical solutions.
- Sales force competencies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Team-oriented mindset, contributing to collaborative success.
