Submit your application today!The positionAs Associate Supply Manager, your primary role involves establishing and managing the supply from our suppliers of components, devices, and raw materials to our global production network.You will safeguard the supply chain reliability, hereunder insurance of sufficient capacity and optimal supply chain set-up with our suppliers. To achieve this, it is critical to secure a strong collaboration with key internal stakeholders, including QA, Device Manufacturing Development, Process Support, Logistics, Business Support, and Strategic Sourcing.Your key tasks include:

  • Supporting the establishment of new supply chains from global suppliers
  • Acting as the bridge between Novo Nordisk and our suppliers, taking charge of coordinating operational and tactical initiatives in partnership with various departments
  • Ensuring a consistent and reliable supply while continually improving performance and fostering collaboration with our suppliers
  • Continuously improving own processes with a cLean mindset
  • Building strong relations with our suppliers and internal stakeholders

Occasional international travel to visit suppliers should be expected.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, we believe:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Manufacturing, or related fields, combined with
  • Demonstrate practical experience in supplier management, overseeing supply chains and production
  • Exhibit a strong drive by setting direction, prioritising tasks, and planning ahead, along with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Showcase proficiency in both written and spoken English

It would be considered as a strong advantage if you have experience in the pharmaceutical sector and possess expertise in process optimization and LEAN tools.As a person, it motivates you to continuously look for ways to improve and optimise how we manage our supply chain. As you will be interacting with diverse stakeholders, it is essential that you enjoy creating and maintaining relations at all levels. You excel at presenting complex information and decision material in a simple and clear manner. You can work both independently and collaboratively, delivering high quality output and setting pride in keeping deadlines. You are also capable of showing a high level of resilience when priorities are changing or when where are urgent supply situations to deal with.About the DepartmentAt GCM Devices, our expertise spans a wide range of responsibilities, from managing external supply chains to external production and sourcing of high-quality medical components and needles.Together, we manage and expand a global network of partnerships with various suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Organisations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical devices and needles for our production needs. Our dedicated team of over 200 colleagues are based at several locations, including Hjørring and Hillerød in Denmark, working collaboratively to achieve excellence in everything we do.

You will join GCM Devices Supply Chain, where we lead the strategic planning and operational execution of our global supply network. We oversee the delivery performance for component production across all device platforms.Our department is instrumental in optimising the supply chain operations, managing the flow of device components – such as plastic, metal and electronics to meet the needs from Finished Product Manufacturing sites. Here, the final products are assembled and packed, ensuring that our end-to-end supply chain remains robust, responsive, and aligned with our production needs.Working at Novo NordiskAt Novo Nordisk, we don’t wait for change.
