We are searching for talented graduates with an ambition to kick-start their career in strategy consulting and private equity (PE). At PwC Strategy& Deals, we have a passion for commercial due diligence (buy- and sell-side), market studies, strategy development and value creation for PE clients and their portfolio companies. We work across the deal lifecycle, helping leading investors originate, create, and realise value from deals.In our Denmark Strategy& Deals team in Copenhagen, we are ~10 professionals with diverse educational and professional experiences and international backgrounds (incl. from the US, UK, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and China). We work closely together with leading Nordic and European PE funds. Among other things, you will:Drive your own workstreams within the context of a wider projectAssist in formulating key hypothesesBreak down, structure and solve challenging quantitative and qualitative problemsDevelop and communicate recommendations to clientsEstablish trust-based relationships with clientsQualifications and capabilities
Educational Preferences:A relevant master’s degree (in, e.g., business administration or finance) or, alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience (i.e., exposure to transactions in a strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity and/or venture capital setting) after completing your bachelor’s degreeExcellent academic performancePreferred Knowledge / Skills:Demonstrated interest in transactions, M&A and private equity, through coursework and/or work experienceExcellent ability to break down, structure and solve challenging quantitative and qualitative problemsStrong ability to communicate complex material effectively in written and oral formats to diverse audiences, including senior client leadershipStrong ability to lead own work and collaborate effectively within the project teamAbility to thrive in a dynamic work environment with a steep learning curveComfort with change and ambiguityExperience using the Microsoft Office suite of applications, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint and WordExperience with transactions from, e.g., internships or other positions in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity or venture capital is a strong assetPreferred Language Capabilities:Ability to communicate effectively in English is requiredAbility to communicate effectively in Danish or another Scandinavian language is a strong assetFor all that you are.
