The Role

Already a long-established player in the fintech sector, Zopa has also recently launched an innovative new range of banking products including savings products and credit cards. If you’re the right candidate, you can play an important role in building the bank of the future using some of today’s most cutting-edge technologies. You’ll be working in a small, agile team with plenty of opportunities to learn from and exchange knowledge with your colleagues.

The team this role falls within (Developer Experience) help add value to the wider engineering group by either using commercial or open source tooling, or building their own set of tooling that enables the engineering team to ship code faster and with higher quality.

About you:

• Have some hands-on experience writing back-end services with Golang
• An interest in DevOps and/or Platform Engineering
• Experience working with Git and GitHub
• Deep expertise isn’t required, but a familiarity with Terraform would be advantageous
• Understand the importance of having a strong commitment to quality in all aspects of your work
• Enjoy reading and learning about software development practices and market trends
• Show a willingness to learn from and work with Senior Software Engineers in the team, to help achieve business objectives
