Associate/Senior Associate Acoustic Consultant

We are seeking a collaborative, motivated and ambitious Senior Associate to play a key role in the growth of the acoustic team nationally, but with a focus on growth within London. Stantec offers the opportunity to work in a truly multi-disciplinary environment, giving access to a wide range of exciting building and infrastructure projects in the UK.

This role will suit an individual who is seeking a fresh challenge and wants to play an integral role in the continued development of the team. You will undertake, and where appropriate manage, the acoustic input to predominantly building and environmental engineering projects, liaising with clients, design team members and other stakeholders to identify project requirements.

You’ll be a proactive, and proven Acoustic Consultant, capable of demonstrating strong project management skills and a good working knowledge of British standards and regulations. You’ll have an appetite to lead a team and develop the acoustic capabilities of the wider business.

You will assist with leading the technical development and growth of the acoustics team and have the necessary skills and experience to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders where you will be working closely with clients, and other professional staff across multi-disciplinary business groups.

About You

You’ll be degree qualified in acoustics, however, if your degree is not in acoustics, then you should hold a suitable acoustics qualification such as the IOA diploma or be able to demonstrate appropriate professional experience.

Full membership with the Institute of Acoustics is required with a track record of developing client relationships and opportunities, playing an important role in winning new work.

You will also hold expert technical knowledge, particularly in building acoustics, in order to deliver excellence and provide trusted consultancy advice across the business, using breadth and depth of specialist skills, knowledge and experience.
