Offer DescriptionGrant/funding reference: Grant Agreement 101103273Job title: European Digital Naval Foundation (EDINAF)Research line: INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERINGTASKS TO BE PERFORMEDThe beneficiary of the contract will perform tasks within the EDINAF (European Digital Naval Foundation) project, a project funded by the European Union through the EDF (European Defence Fund) program. EDINAF aims to develop a joint naval operational cloud as a component of the wider multi-domain military operations cloud. EDINAF will work on an IT infrastructure and associated data interface standards (edge and cloud computing). The tasks to be performed will focus on work packages WP6 “Connectivity” concerning the analysis of connectivity solutions using wireless communication technologies to cover the various communication needs in EDINAF, and WP10 “Demonstrator” in which a demonstrator will be built to implement the solutions agreed in the remaining WPs.Where to apply WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Computer science Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsRequired qualification: PhD.Additional InformationEligibility criteriaSELECTION CRITERIA(evaluation out of 10 points) Only merits related to the specified line of research will be evaluated.A. Scientific publications (up to 0.50 points per publication and up to a maximum of 1.5 points)E. Work experience: previous positions held, participation in R&D projects, technology transfer actions, etc. (up to 0.50 points per year and up to a maximum of 1.5 points).F. Personal interview provided that a minimum of 6 points is reached in the previous sections (maximum 2 points).
