We are looking for a Dutch-speaking lawyer with a great interest in environmental law, zoning and planning.Our Regulatory departmentOur Regulatory practice provides legal advisory and litigation to all of Belgium’s federal and regional entities. Our attorneys are particularly recognised for their skills in environmental, energy, zoning and planning and public procurement regulations.We advise on and give procedural assistance to clients concerning various subject areas such as waste and soil, permits and water regulations, zoning and planning, etc. Zoning and planning includes legal issues relating to environmental impact analyses, nature conservation, safety reporting, identifying competent authorities, and others. Our team has experience of planning infrastructure, massive structures and urban regeneration. Apart from our team’s autonomous expertise, our regulatory practitioners seamlessly join forces with the firm’s other practices especially on M&A and real estate transactions.The department consists of 22 lawyers.What we offerJoining our team, you can expect:

What we expectWe are looking for a bright associate who:

• Has an excellent knowledge of Dutch, and a good command of French and English.
• Obtained a Belgian law degree with good academic results.
• Has up to 3 years of experience at the Bar and a broad interest in environmental law, zoning and planning.
• Has strong analytical skills, editorial fluency and embraces impeccable spelling.
• Has a client-oriented, practical and commercial mind-set.
• Has excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Is eager to learn, enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated.
