Offer DescriptionThe Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control and Informatics announces a competition for the position of associate professor.The competition is open to people who want to undertake scientific and research work in the discipline of Information and communication technology and meet the conditions set out in the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science,– persons who has postdoctoral degree (habilitation) in the disciplines of Information and communication technology, Computer Science or in disciplines clearly corresponding to the above-mentioned,– must have documented advanced research experience in the field of Information and communication technology or Computer Science,– have knowledge and skills in a few selected issues: in the field of information technology, C, C++, C#, Python, Java programming languages, object modelling and programming, mathematical modelling, logic, software engineering, operating systems, computer networks, database and computer security issues, artificial intelligence,– have good or very good knowledge of Polish and English,– persons for whom the Opole University of Technology will be the basic place of work may enter the competition.Sub research field: Information science, Engineering, TechnologyWhere to apply WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Computer science Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsCandidates should have experience in a few selected fields of didactics in: of information technology, C, C++, C#, Python, Java programming languages, object modelling and programming, mathematical modelling, logic, software engineering, operating systems, computer networks, database and computer security issues.
