  • Research work, successful applications for grants, publishing in international periodicals with a high allocation of points
  • Teaching, conducting classes in English
  • Participation in academic activities and administrative work within the Institute of Humanities
  • Participation in the work of the Department on developing new teaching projects (including international ones), devising and reviewing programmes of study, participation in work related to student affairs (supervision of students, administrative work)
  • Availability and focus on academic work

  • Possession of a post-doctoral degree in the humanities in the discipline of linguistics or literary studies or its equivalent in English-speaking countries
  • Research interests in the fields of descriptive, comparative, corpus, and computational linguistics; translation studies, sociolinguistics or literary studies of the English language area (history, theory and criticism of literature, cultural studies, comparative literature)
  • Teaching experience appropriate to the degrees or title held
  • Readiness to teach classes at weekends
  • Proficiency in English
  • Communicative knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing

  • Academic achievements: 50% of the final score
  • Teaching achievements: 25% of the final score
  • Practical and administrative achievements: 25% of the final score
