Offer DescriptionDean of Faculty of Animal Breeding and Biology, on behalf of the Rector of Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology announces a competition
for the position of associate professor in the group of researchers and lecturersThe assistant professor’s duties will include:

• conducting didactic classes in the field of biotechnology, genetics and molecular biology;
• organizational activity for the Department, Faculty and University;
• implementation of administrative tasks related to the teaching and research process;
• acting as a supervisor of diploma and doctoral dissertations;
• application for research projects and other external funds for research and teaching activities;
• conducting scientific activities within the field of agricultural sciences, the discipline of zootechnics and fisheries, taking into account scientific research and development of scientific publications, as well as training of young scientific staff.

− postdoctoral degree in the discipline of animal science and fisheries or veterinary science or biology or biotechnology;
− experience in laboratory work using molecular biology tools;
scientific and popular science achievements documented by scientific publications with the Impact Factor, conference reports and popular science articles
− experience in research work, in particular in the field of biotechnology, genetics and/or molecular biology,
− experience in managing research teams,
− professional competences documented by training and/or courses,
− ability to use the MS Office package, statistical programs,
− English, spoken and written, at a level that allows cooperation in an international team and conducting classes in English, as well as publishing scientific articles;
