Offer DescriptionCOMPETITION 2The Rector of the Warsaw University of Live Sciences- SGGW in Warsaw annoucesa multi-stage competition for the position of Associate Professor in a group of research and teaching staff in the field: social sciences or humanities in discipline: pedagogy at the Institute of Social Sciences and Pedagogy in the Deparment of Pedagogy.The candidate applying for the above-mentioned position must meet the requirements specified in art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – The Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and in § 89 section 1 item 2) of the University Statute – Annex to Resolution No. 63 – 2022/2023 of the Senate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences of 29 May 2023 on the introduction of amendments to the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the announcement of the consolidated text of the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.Where to apply E-mailinsip@sggw.edu.plRequirementsResearch Field Educational sciences » Education Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsThe candidate is expected to:– have at least a doctoral degree in social sciences or humanities in the discipline of pedagogy (preferred specialization: special education and/or educational therapy) and outstanding and internationally recognized scientific achievements in the field of special education and/or educational therapy;– experience in conducting scientific work in the field of special education and/or educational therapy, documented by appropriate achievements in the form of authorship or co-authorship of at least 20 scientific monographs or chapters in monographs or scientific articles (including at least 12 in scientific journals), which were published in publishing houses or journals included in the list applicable for the year of their publication, referred to in § 87 para. 1 and 4 of the University Statute, and after obtaining the degree of habilitated doctor, at least 5 scientific monographs or chapters in monographs or scientific articles (including at least 3 in scientific journals), which were published in publications or journals included in the list applicable for the year of their publication;– obtaining from scientific activity (in the last 2 calendar years) an average annual number of points awarded for scientific articles, scientific monographs or chapters in scientific monographs by at least 50% higher than the minimum average annual number of points necessary to obtain a positive assessment of research activity for an academic teacher employed as an assistant professor, specified in the principles of academic teacher assessment current on the date of submission of the application (the minimum average annual number of points necessary to obtain a positive assessment of research activity in the case of an academic teacher employed as an assistant professor is 120 points);– experience in managing a project involving scientific research or development work or implementation of investments related to education and scientific activity, maintenance of scientific and research equipment, research station (SPUB) or special computer equipment (SPUBi), financed in a competitive procedure by a domestic or foreign institution or an international organization or completing a total of at least eight weeks of documented scientific internship in a foreign research center;
