Offer DescriptionIn order to be employed as an associate professor ina group of research and didactic positions, one must hold at least a doctoral degree and have significant academic, artistic or didactic achievements, significantly influencing the development of the scientific or artistic discipline represented by the staff member or the didactic development of the university, which are:– highly-rated scientific articles of international scope, stored in parametric databases recognized by the relevant Ministry of for higher education and science, or in the case of humanities or legal sciences, highly rated articles in nationwide magazines, available in parametric databases recognized by the relevant Ministry of higher education and science, or artistic activity of international standing,– managing projects resulting from the calls for proposals for scientific activities financed from external sources within the meaning of the Law or obtaining artistic activities scholarships or a significant award for outstanding artistic activity,– achievements in organisational activities, i.e. organisation of conferences and scientific or artistic events important for the development of the discipline, and with a significant social impact,– organisation of, or participation in various forms of scientific international cooperation,– noteworthy assessment of didactic activity confirmed by the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs or having a significant didactic competences relevant to the scientific discipline represented by the member of staff, or for the didactic policy of the University and the didactic policy of the University in the field of the faculty where an employee will be teaching.In justified cases, the Rector may agree to lower the requirements, taking into account, in particular, the candidate’s qualifications which have an impact on development of the represented scientific discipline and are necessary for the implementation of the research and didactic policy of the University.In addition, candidates must meet the following conditions:– at least a doctoral degree in natural sciences in the discipline of physical sciences or equivalent,– proven scientific achievements in the field of solid state physics – X-ray spectroscopy and studies of optical properties of materials or proven practical experience in this field gained outside the university,– ability to carry out experiments (angle-resolved XPS, NEXAFS/EXAFS, etc.),– experience in preparing research projects and carrying out research using synchrotron radiation,– knowledge of computational methods based on the DFT approach for interpretation of experimental results,– authorship or co-authorship of high-scoring publications (min. 140 points) published within the last 5 years,– language competence necessary for teaching in Polish and English.RequirementsResearch Field Physics Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsIn order to be employed as an associate professor ina group of research and didactic positions, one must hold at least a doctoral degree and have significant academic, artistic or didactic achievements, significantly influencing the development of the scientific or artistic discipline represented by the staff member or the didactic development of the university, which are:
