Our team culture is characterized by ambition and a drive to perform, and in finding pleasure in what we do, together as a team and with respect for each individual.ResponsibilitiesIn this position you will play a key role in the structuring and execution of complex equity investments and mezzanine debt transactions. Your deliverables in the role will be:Assessing investment opportunities including (i) evaluation of business models and financial statements, (ii) financial modelling and forecasting, (iii) writing debt / investment proposals and (iv) coordinating internal and external parts of the deal process;Reviewing transaction (legal) documentation;Supporting senior team members in transaction origination and execution;From day one frequent contact with (prospective) clients, external advisors (e.g. corporate finance/debt advisors, lawyers, consultants) and co-investors as part of transaction execution and portfolio management;Managing equity participations and subordinated debt positions;Preparing pitches and presentations, market analyses, financial analyses, internal reporting, shareholder meetings, etc.;Coaching & educating interns and analysts;Collaborating with other ING teams, such as Corporate Finance and Sector teams, to create integrated client solutionsHow to succeedWe hire smart people like you for your potential. Furthermore, you have at least a number of the following:An academic degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or equivalent3-5 years’ relevant experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital or Banking (e.g. M&A Project Finance, Acquisition Finance).
