Your role will be pivotal in developing and implementing program/project management processes, methodologies, and best practices, ensuring adherence to customer agreements, and continually enhancing program/project efficiency.What You Will DoYour primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing processes and best practices, defining project and program KPIs, and spearheading continuous improvement efforts. Furthermore, the role encompasses monitoring and reporting on project and program performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and offering strategic guidance to enhance overall program/project efficiency and effectiveness.Your responsibilities include:

  • Project and Program Governance: Ensure existing governance structures are working efficiently and generating value to Phillips-Medisize. Adjust and/or develop new governance structures targeting efficient and reliable program/project execution as well as customers’ satisfaction
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing existing program excellence and processes and recommend possible enhancements
  • Performance Measurement: Assess and evaluate existing key performance indicators (KPIs). Update, develop and implement new KPIs to improve the performance of program/projects
  • Monitor resource forecast: Collaborate with Functional Managers and the Global PMO Managers to establish and execute the resource forecasting process, incorporating heatmaps that compare resource allocation to availability. Generate recommendations for resource utilization across projects, striving for optimal personnel and budget management
  • Training and Development: Create tools, templates, and training materials tailored for program and project management teams to improve the execution of programs and projects
  • Data Insight: Play a pivotal role in the development of a “data insight tool” and then persistently develop and maintain it to assist program/project managers in decision-making and keep Management informed about program/project performance
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Promote transparent and effective communication with stakeholders by providing updates on program/project progress and addressing concerns. Collaborate closely with relevant colleagues to support both management and individual program/project managers effectively

This role demands a structured and diligent approach. Your success hinges on your capability to align internal and customer needs with PMO-proposed solutions. You will be tasked with being curious, challenging input, and scrutinizing assumptions to deliver high-quality proposals, laying the groundwork for more effective program/project management.Moreover, this position necessitates robust analytical and communication proficiencies. It entails evaluating data, articulating discoveries, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance program excellence and perpetually improve processes throughout the organization.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Finance, Business or Engineering
  • You are a skilled program/project manager or PMO manager that has experience from driving projects efficiently through structure, planning, alignment, and follow-up
  • You possess collaboration skills to foster teamwork and build relationships, along with excellent interpersonal skills to create trustful relations with internal stakeholders. Additionally, you have good communication skills and proficiency in conveying complex ideas clearly
  • You possess solid analytical skills and demonstrate a self-driven approach and autonomy, allowing you to work independently with efficiency and precision. Additionally, you can combine a commercial and strategic mindset to grasp various business models and propose potential improvements
  • You are fluent in both verbal and written English and proficient using Microsoft Office, in particular Power Point and Excel

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience from working with innovative medical device development projects from early idea to concept and onwards towards launch
  • Demonstrated experience in a PMO role, with a track record of developing and implementing processes and best practices to enhance overall program/project efficiency and elevate data insight levels to support program/project excellence
  • Advanced Excel and BI skills
