Category and Digital team work closely together to drive profitable growth by expanding our market share across categories, driving demand creation excellence in a consumer-centric and digital-first approach, supporting franchise management activation.Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:Reporting to the Iberia Marketing Lead and dotted line to the EMEA Director Digital & Omnichannel, as Associate Manager Media you’ll be responsible for driving the Iberia digital media agenda and activations to deliver maximum ROI. The position includes management responsibilities of a team.What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Drive Iberia Media Strategy & Processes:
  • Translate insights into strategies and actions
  • Identify missing insights and trends and implement solutions to be a more “consumer-centric, insights-focused team”
  • Continuously track and evaluate the performance of your efforts, and if necessary, adapt your strategy for the future
  • Drive test & learn agenda
  • Budget management and coordination
  • Be externally focused: Assist to internal or external digital workshop. Keep up on trends in digital media
  • Actively work towards promoting best practice and efficiency gains in everything the team does
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Category team and Regional Digital team to share expertise of the local market as well as identify synergies, alignment, best practices and opportunities within the country
  • Lead Integrated Media Planning: act as media lead and coordinator internally and with agencies and oversee all digital media campaigns
  • Brand Audience strategy: collaborating with the Brand teams to understand Brand/Category specific needs when it comes to precision targeting, and to identify the data-enabled strategy for reaching our target consumers, optimize brand media plans, circulate best practices. Strategically dissect and question briefs, and briefs answers
  • Digital engagement lead: (CTV, Youtube, Gaming, Social, Influencers…)
  • Programmatic & data champion
  • Leading Data partnerships activation: identify data partnership opportunities with selected suppliers, to complement and integrate the 1st party data strategy
  • Drive CRM from modelling to media planning, develop creatives and implementation
  • Drive & execute eretail media activities partnering with sales and go-to-market team
  • Collaborate with Mattel-in house Amazon media team for Amazon media plans
  • Oversee reporting and optimization of campaigns
  • eCommerce: expand online share in key retailers & Nurture pure players
  • eRetail listings overview & recommendation
  • Optimization customers PDP: Ensuring ROAR assets implemented in PDP
  • Work ecommerce trade plans together with KAM
  • Provide eMerchandising assets
  • Mattel Shop lead set-up & update point of contact
  • Agencies management
  • Digital & Media Agencies lead: Review, coordinate, align digital media plans with Category team and secure flawless coordination and execution with digital agencies (MM, Ogilvy, UM, Criteo…)
  • Leading Privacy pillar: being the Privacy and GDPR guardian: Work with internal legal team and agencies to make sure our plans are COPPA /GDPR compliant
  • Team Leader: Actively develop team members

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:

  • Courageous Leader with media experience and with ability and confidence to learn and apply new skills
  • True interest for digital media with understanding of performance marketing and enthusiasm for learning about new media markets and channels
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Digital / Marketing preferably in FMCG and Minimum of 2 year of management
  • Commercially minded, Results driven, pragmatic and decisive mindset, winning mentality, and a strong will to succeed
  • Strong attention to detail with a desire to improve processes and drive team efficiency
  • Proactive problem solver/solution-driven with a creative and highly analytical mind-set, able to read and interpret data and make proactive recommendations based on given insight
  • Proven ability to navigate in a complex environment, Able to understand, Manage & reduce complexity
  • Able to manage multiple deliverables & take decisions, whilst nurturing the development of team members
  • Ability to work independently and make important decisions
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and high initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal & collaboration skills. You will be trusted to navigate a Matrix organization, influence people and build strong relationships internally/externally to drive action
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing
  • MS Office and social media knowledge
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus
