Role: Associate Examinations Invigilator – Northamptonshire CampusesLocation: NorthamptonshireSalary/Benefits: Rate £13.20 p/hrHours/Weeks: up to 30 hrs/week – contract end – 20th December 2024About the role:The Bedford College Group are currently seeking an Examinations Invigilator to conduct examinations on accordance with Awarding Body regulations, over various campuses across Northamptonshire.About you:Ideal candidates will have:

  • English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience of working within set procedures and regulations
  • Experience of using Microsoft applications such as Excel and Teams
  • Ability to consistently to create to a welcoming and supportive environment for students and/or customers
  • Ability to consistently to support a high quality experience for all students
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face
  • Experience of working in an educational environment
  • Knowledge of the requirements of an invigilator and associated responsibilities
  • Ability to travel to alternative sites

What is an Associate?
Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you. Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.
