We are currently looking for an Investment Associate to join Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) in our Front Office – Equities Investment Directors Team. You will support the commercialisation of the Equity franchise by driving and optimising our client-led investment information and data provision effort between the Front Office and Distribution Team.  You will be responsible for the Front Office information and data enquiries received by our colleagues and existing and prospective clients.

Our Equities Investment Directors team sits within our Front Office department and is responsible for supporting the commercialisation of the Asset Class franchises.  The team manage the client-led investment information agenda between our Front Office and Distribution department as well as providing Portfolio Manager Proxy resource to the Business alongside driving and influencing the asset class strategic plan for growth for RLAM.

About the role

-Accountable for building, maintaining and evolving an efficient and effective investment data infrastructure to support data and information requests of all forms
-Breadth of expertise to drive continuous improvements in automation and enhancement of information and data provision. 
-Equity and business knowledge to ensure client led information and data requirements are evaluated, co-ordinated and delivered
 

About you

-Knowledge of Equity investments and portfolio management analytics
-Advanced Excel skills including processing, analysing and presenting data using intermediate functions
-Word, Powerpoint & PowerBI proficient – FactSet familiarity an advantage
-Basic coding ability in e.g., Python or other languages advantageous
-High level of written and verbal communication skill
-Ability to deal with multiple deliverables whilst maintaining strong attention to detail 
-IMC desirable, intention to undertake CFA Qualification
