A scientific cooperation foundation endowed with its own infrastructure and resources, the IRT BIOASTER is firmly committed to economic and industrial development, creating wealth and jobs.PositionMAIN ACTIVITIES:As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in in vivo testing and in vitro activities linked to preclinical projects, particularly in mice:– Implement in vivo protocols– Participate in the planning and logistical preparation of studies– Perform in vitro experiments (culture of bacterial and viral strains in BSL2 and human or animal cells)– Organize and present results– Participate in report writing– Participate in small animal imaging studies (bioluminescence/fluorescence)– Participate in experimental laboratory management and organization– Support the other scientific activities of the Paris teams (microbiology/bacteriology) to meet project needs.MAIN INTERACTIONS :– BIOASTER’s other technological units– Institut Pasteur’s Animal facility

– Imaging platformAFFILIATION: Microbiology, Preclinical Models and Protein Science (MIMPS) technology unitRequirementsPROFILEQualifications :– 2/3 years’ higher education in Microbiology or Biology, with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position, in an academic laboratory or within a large group or SME.– Level II in animal experimentation and experimental surgery (would be a plus)– Proficiency in in vivo technical procedures (inoculation, autopsies and sampling)– Knowledge and practice of microbiology techniques (culture, isolation, enumeration), molecular biology and mouse experimentation– Knowledge of flow cytometry and/or small animal imaging would be a plus– Work in P2/A2 conditions– Good command of office automation tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet),– Good knowledge of English.Personal qualities– Autonomy, rigor, responsiveness, initiative,– Sense of service,– Ability to adapt,– Respect for confidentialityOther informationPermanent position – Paris 15ème
