We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid. Responsibilities:Your role as Associate Director will involve:
- Employer Relations & Business Development:
- Manage and expand a portfolio of employer partners, including conducting regular visits and fostering relationships.
- Leverage alumni networks and faculty expertise to cultivate connections with the market.
- Represent IE University nationally and internationally at industry events and conferences.
- Partner with the marketing team to create compelling communication and marketing plans for recruiting events.
- Develop increasing levels of knowledge about specific market trends, corporate strategy and recruitment expectations of core clients by conducting ongoing research and engagement with the company representatives and alumni to ensure students have current information about specific job markets.
- Sales calls and proactive outreach to represent the University both nationally and internationally to increase the volume of recruiters and geographic diversity of recruiters
- Facilitate employers’ participation in specific recruiting events, including panels with sector experts, Talent Forums, company presentations, workshops, as well as other events designed to facilitate interactions between employers and students
- Student Career Preparation:
- Coordinate sector specific training and events for students.
- Collaborate with student clubs to organize industry treks and networking events with professionals.
- Develop and deliver workshops and informational sessions about sectors and interview preparation for specific sectors or companies.
- Develop and promote career resources and educational events relevant to the sector.
- Manage and report on employment data and statistics.
Qualifications:To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Master’s degree.
- Experience in business development or corporate relations, minimum of 3 years.
- International experience, minimum of 2 years.
- Working experience in Tech.
- Prior experience working in teams, leadership experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of the industry landscape and recruiting practices.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with diverse constituency, including senior executives.
- Great organizational skills, being able to prioritize with a strategic mindset.
- Initiative: the candidate must be a professional with self-confidence, a spirit of service and a proactive and innovative attitude.
- Results oriented, with strong attention to processes. Highly motivated to achieve objectives, both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends occasionally.
- Proven ability to create and establish external business relationships.
- Global mentality, being able to work with people from different backgrounds and keep an open mind to different needs and cultures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in business development or account management within the sector.
- Prior sales or business development experience. Developing effective measurements and evaluating performance.
- Experience coaching and mentoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of higher education (master or MBA) programs and employers.
- Database management, marketing communication and direct marketing expertise a plus.
- Attention to detail: the candidate must have the necessary characteristics and style of working related to an academic environment.
- Additional languages would be a plus.
